Reporting a Concern or Allegation

Cuso International (Cuso) requires that all of representatives and related personnel follow high standards of ethical conduct in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities. As such, Cuso personnel, its Board of Directors, volunteers, partners, suppliers, agents, contractors or subcontractors are all expected to read, understand and comply with Cuso’s Code of Conduct and all its related policies.

Cuso is committed to responding to and managing any reported concerns and allegations made in good faith in a prompt, professional, fair and respectful manner.

No complainant, who discloses an incident of misconduct in good faith will suffer any adverse consequences, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, threats, or adverse employment consequences (including but not limited to discharge, demotion or suspension).

Code of Conduct

Cuso International’s Code of Conduct gives direction on the actions and behaviours that are foundational to the ethical excellence we all expect across the organization. The following policies are included within our Code of Conduct and are applicable to all representatives and related personnel.

Complaints Policy

Cuso International’s Complaints Policy for external stakeholders

A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction about the service, actions, or lack of action by Cuso International as an organization or by individuals working at, with or on behalf of Cuso, including but not limited to employees, casual workers, Canadian and international volunteers, members of the Board of Directors, partners, donors, suppliers, agents, contractors or sub-contractors wherever they may be located. In the event of a complaint from an external stakeholder, Cuso will make every effort to resolve it as promptly and effectively as possible, and use it to assist in improving services, policies, and procedures.
