Cuso International Alumni: Volunteer Ambassadors Needed

Connect with alumni, volunteer candidates and partners, in major cities across Canada and combine your professional skills with a good cause of overcoming poverty and inequality.

The Volunteer Ambassador will work approximately 6 to 10 hours a month to:
• Recruit volunteers
• Educate the public
• Plan events
• Cultivate alumni relationships
• Occasionally support the team with organizing fundraising events

We are looking for Cuso International alumni who:
• Believe in our model of international development — skills sharing and knowledge transfer
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Strong communication skills in English, (Spanish is a strong asset)
• Experience organizing events
• Entrepreneurial spirit

In return, we offer:
• A small stipend of $100 a month
• Support, training, and equipment
• financial support to participate in activities and events
• Up-to-date promotional materials
• A chance to combine your professional skills with a good cause

Commitment:
• Approximately six to 10 hours per month, or two events /activities per month (largely weekends and evenings)
• Expected volunteer ambassador commitment of one year
