Run for the World teammates are runners, walkers, cheerers, fundraisers and local volunteers who choose local marathon and fun run events to rally support for the work of Cuso International.
Local Committee member and returned volunteer Kim Byers wrote, "I would definitely recommend getting involved in Cuso's Running for the World. It is not only a great way to let people know about Cuso International, but it is a fun way to engage people in international development issues. I will definitely be running again!!"

The Tanzanian team (2012) raised $2,334 USD for a Mobile Health Program in Pemba Island in Zanzibar, which aims to improve maternal health. The Rwandan team raised $250 USD to enable Deaf Sign Language Instructors to provide sign language lessons to deaf children, their teachers and families.
